Planting at Dunbeath
One of the joys of gardening is that a garden is never finished. Some plants die, some want to take over and others need to be moved to a more suitable location. This provides an opportunity to plant new things. At Dunbeath, we have our tough and reliable plants. Lupin, Campanula, Thalictrum, Astilbe, Hosta, Crocosmia, Geranium, Geum, Aster, Lythrum, Alchemilla, Anemone, Stipa, Miscanthus and others form the bones of the garden. This leaves room for other plants, many of which are less well known, to add more interest to the garden throughout the season. To this end, we are constantly trying to add rarer garden worthy and interesting plants to our borders. We sincerely hope that you will find plants of interest during your visit.
