Flowering in March

March 14, 2018

Helleborus 'Penny's Pink' has been putting on a lovely show for some time now. Interestingly, the name Helleborus is derived from an ancient Greek word and means "to injure" and "food," portraying the plants poisonous properties. The Greeks and Romans used Hellebore medicinally and in particular, used it to treat insanity! Perhaps it would be a good idea to stock up!
